Emilija Tudzarovska is a Assistant Professor in Modern European Politics at the Faculty of Social Sciences, IMS, Charles University in Prague and Visiting Professor at Leiden University (incoming). She is co-conventor of the UACES Research Network “Rethinking Europe’s East-West Divide” (2023–2025). She also held the position of Head of Research in International Relations at UNYP. She is awarded fellow of Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (2017-2021) and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (2000-2007) for outstanding academic achievements. Her visiting research stays include: Cambridge University; ARENA-Center for European Studies, the University of Oslo; ECAS Brussels, and others. Tudzarovska is also former a practitioner, working at the (FCO) Policy and Programme Department - the British Embassy in Skopje (2015–2017) supervising programs in the UK/EU Foreign and Security Policy; Security and Conflict Prevention and the EU-NATO integration in the Western Balkans; She also held positions at the German Foundation, Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation in Skopje|Berlin leading regional and national programs and projects in the fields of party democracy, social market economy, and rule of law (2007–2013). In this period she was chief editor of the political-economic Journal "Political Thought". She is also an expert member of the Global Network for anti-corruption based in Geneva.
